American Family Center works to prevent abuse, restore dignity, and promote wellbeing across generations through proactive, prevention-focused solutions.
We advance awareness, education, and early intervention related to domestic and intimate partner violence, child exploitation, human trafficking, and elder neglect, while addressing the underlying risks that often make individuals and families more vulnerable—economic hardship, housing instability, and social isolation.
Through community partnerships and practical support, we help people find safer pathways forward before crisis becomes trauma.

Seniorocity™
Seniorocity™ is American Family Center’s platform for older adult engagement, connection, and wellbeing — designed to reduce isolation, restore dignity, and support meaningful participation in community life.
Its leading initiative, Seniorocity Immersive Engagement™, uses immersive shared experiences powered by Mynd Immersive to help older adults reconnect with meaningful memories, explore new places, and stay socially engaged through guided virtual experiences.

👗 Wednesday Women’s Closet
Providing confidence and clothing to help women move forward with dignity — offering professional attire, hygiene essentials, and supportive community connections.
💬 Choices Interactive
An educational and prevention initiative using interactive digital tools to raise awareness about domestic and partner violence, helping individuals recognize and respond safely.
Safe Passage Network (SPN)
Safe Passage Network is an emerging American Family Center initiative designed to provide a rapid, discreet pathway from danger to safety during moments of crisis. Built as a quiet, dignity-centered safety infrastructure, SPN removes the practical and logistical barriers that often prevent individuals from leaving unsafe environments.
Through instant activation, secure transport, preloaded emergency go-bags, and coordinated arrival to safer destinations, SPN offers a trauma-informed, private means of escape without requiring interaction or explanation in the moment.
This program is currently under development and preparing for pilot implementation as part of AFC’s commitment to innovative, prevention-focused solutions that protect human dignity, strengthen family safety, and serve vulnerable community members in urgent need.
💜 Child & Youth Wellbeing
Child & Youth Wellbeing provides education, mentorship, and community resources that help young people grow up safe, informed, and resilient.
Our initiatives address the complex realities children and teens face today — from bullying and relationship abuse to the rising threats of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and online predators.

Promoting child safety awareness and developing innovative technology to prevent tragedies from children left unattended in vehicles.

Inspired by Baby Buddy, exploring elder-friendly safety tools that help older adults call for help even with limited mobility or access to devices.
